Dear U2,
I really like you guys. I was very disappointed by your single "Get On Your Boots". I did however happen to LEGALLY acquire a copy of your latest album "No Line On The Horizon". With the exception of "Get On Your Boots" and "Stand Up Comedy" this album is pretty bad ass. It kinda' seems as if you guys were like "Oh hey, let's make an album that should have been between 'Achtung Baby!' and 'Zooropa'!" Seriously though, its a pretty sweet album to listen to on the way home from a music store on a cold and dark March night in Cleveland. Or possibly sitting in my apartment on a cold March night in Cleveland while playing on the internet. What's up with the long songs though? I mean they are sweet and all but you guys got 5 songs that are 5 minutes or more and another few that are more than 4 minutes. One favor though, please have Paul Oakenfold remix "GOYB" as well as Ronan from VNV Nation. That song would be pretty bad ass if you let those two go nuts on that song. I'm stoked to see these songs live and how they'll fit into your set lists since they are pretty mellow compared to other stuff. In conclusion, thank you for making a rock record that I can be proud to say is by my favorite band.
Love,
Kelly
PS I can't wait to pick this up on vinyl, I bet it sounds amazing.
